Are Elon Musk and James Franco testifying in the Johnny Depp vs Amber Heard trial?
Amber Heard difamation trial that's been going on for three weeks, there is no doubt that the video evidence of Heard's affairs is the most scandalous one. The men who were caught in security footage while going to her home on an elevator are Elon Musk and James Franco. According to Johnny Depp's defense, Depp has believed that both celebrities had intimate relationships with Amber Heard when the two actors were still married.
Musk is already on record denying these allegations and saying he was 'nowhere in Amber Heard's vicinity' when she was still married to Johnny Depp. James Franco still hasn't publicly spoken about his involvement and there's no further information about the timeline in which he had the affair with Heard.
Naturally, the trial was expecting both men to testify in front of the jury and set the record straight. Out of a 6-week trial, we were all hoping both of them could show up and speak to the judge and the jury about the details of these affairs.
We finally got some information about both of them and it's not very encouraging. Unless they are demanded to appear in court by the judge, nobody can force them to show up if the defendant's attorneys' requests them to make an appearance. In las 24 hours, we finally got confirmation if either Elon Musk or James Franco will appear to testify.
Will Elon Musk and James Franco appear in court?
Elon Musk is currently quite busy with his sensational Twitter take over among other things, his attorney Alex Spiro already stated that the tech billionaire is not making an appearance. The New York Post confirmed this information earlier on Thursday but we still needed info on James Franco. Amber Heard's defense had a list of available witnesses when the trial began and both men were on it.
In a previous lawsuit that took place in England, James Franco was mentioned by Heard when she accused Johnny Depp of physical abuse. According to the actress, Franco asked her about bruises on her face after Depp allegedly chucked a phone at her. After this report from the New York Post, it seems Amber Heard has been left on her own.
